Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, in a quiet, remote place well off any main road. Peg is a very generous host, and makes a killer breakfast. Well worth the time.

I am very greatful for the weekend my family spent here. We were visiting for a memorial service traveling from all over the United States to meet here and celebrate the life of my uncle who passed away. Several of us had the pleasure of staying here in the inn. It is absolutely gorgeous, serene, and peaceful. Just what we needed. The farm fresh eggs from her own chickens, the wonderful border collie dog who must have stolen my heart, I could stay here forever. I wish I could thank her personally.

Was a fabulous experience!!! Peggy Taylor, the Innkeeper was wonderful!!! She is so very kind and such a great lady!!! So much history and interest in the area. In addition, Peggy served well as a tour guide. I felt as if I stepped back in time while having all my needs met. Comfy beds, fabulous breakfast and surroundings. The view was magazine worthy. The place elicits a feeling of well-being, privacy and serenity. It is the place to go if you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy a very unique experience. Was even able to find a place to show my art during my stay. I will be sure to return!!!

A quiet and very pleasant rural retreat, I was overnight but really wish I could have stayed longer. A very old, quaint, rustic but scrupulously clean and maintained log home with up-to-date facilities. The farm was homesteaded by the Taylors and has been in the same family now for two centuries. A fine place to stop and enjoy the peace and beauty of the forest, streams and hills. Much to see and experience within an hours walk or a half hour drive. Seriously, don't miss this! It may be the high point of your trip.
