Very neat! What a beautiful property! I feel awful, because I'm not sure I remember her name correctly, but Colleen, it think 😬, was so knowledgeable. She was a great presenter and we really learned a lot. Definitely worth a trip.

Beautiful restoration with many original pieces of furniture and light fixtures. Many very large original paintings from era.

This is a great museum experience. Our docent, Ashley, was an excellent guide. The furniture is 25% original, and the mansion is laid out nearly the same as when it was occupied by Governor Cobb, thanks to detailed records by his wife. The air conditioner works quite well, making this an excellent place to escape the heat when visiting in summer. Senior, military, child, and student pricing available. Free admission for Georgia College students and staff.

Well worth your time for a visit and the tour. Ashley, our tour guide, and senior at Georgia College was excellent. She is very knowledgeable about the building and its history. The mansion is a very integral part of Georgia history especially pre-Civil War, during the war, and early reconstruction period. We will probably go again at some point if back in Milledgeville.
