I called this place the other day and my first question was if they were a kill shelter or a no kill shelter. The lady tells me they’re a no killer shelter so I tell her about this dog on the side of the road, but midway through she hangs up on me! I call back for her to be like “sorry the line disconnected” and that they’d put the dog down charging me $100 to do so!! She was very rude and not at all helpful especially when I told her the dog’s condition.

Worst! This place is a shame to spalding county. They rather kill the animals rather than tell a owner over the phone if they have the dog/cat. Sad..

Call animal control come get it
You can take the pet to animal control but there is a owner surrender few you will have to pay. Or you can network on social media to try to rehome it or find it a rescue.
You can call them and report the address they will look into the situation.
No ma'am.... unfortunately we are not licensed to deal with any type of wildlife or reptiles. You can call Animal Control Experts at 770.707.2360.....or..... Southeastern Reptile Rescue at 404.557.2470.They do charge, however I'm not sure how much. Hope this helps!
You can call the shelter at 770.467.4772 and we will send out an officer to check the dog and try to find its owner.
