Really beautiful and scenic park. My dream home would be staring at those mountains. People were launching paddle boards into the lake when we arrived. We did see boat trailers in the parking lot and some people were fishing. If you can boat or paddle board, I don’t get why you can’t swim. I’m sure people fall off and into the water. Views = 5 star rating

If I had to assume I would say no. There's no signage stating anything against it. There is no swimming. No wading. Very highly secured. Wardens office is on site though so it would be easy to get an answer.

Honestly dont know. Never went fishing there myself. But ive seen people pull a little bit of everything pulled out of that lake. Sorry i couldnt help answer your question.
My best guess is because it's the primary source of drinking water for the Greer Commission of Public Works.
You have to get a Greer CPW fishing permit from the wardens office. It's 5 dollars for the year and it's good for lake Cunningham also. You must have a SC fishing license as well.
