What a great surprise! I shopped a mint gold bar (1 oz pure gold from Rand Refinery) at various places and had no luck. One local place wouldn’t buy any bullion (despite what their website said) and a Charleston Pawn Shop offered me HALF of the spot price for gold. I called Golden Eagle and a friendly gentleman said they would buy gold. I walked into this place, handed him my gold and my drivers license, and he paid me the current spot gold price in cash! The transaction took less than 5 minutes! They were courteous, professional, lightning fast, and more than fair. There was no attempt to lowball me; they just looked at the current market gold price and that’s what they paid me. I wish this place was in Charleston where I live.
