You can't beat the movie quality for this price. YES, the seating is old. YES, the theater could use an update. But, does any of that matters? The lights will be low, the seats are not uncomfortable, the popcorn is fresh, and the sound and movie quality are great! For comparable movie theaters, a 5.

Questions & Answers
can kids come to the movie?

Kids under 6 years can only see R rated films before 6pm.
Children 17 and under must be with a parent or guardian for R rated films any time.
For all other movies, 17 and under must be with a parent or guardian after 8pm.
(All of this info is current via the AMC theater app, which breaks all of these policies down)
Right now, according to what I just looked up in the app, everything non-3D with a "start time" before 12 noon is $4.99
From 12 noon until 4pm, its $8.49
After 4pm, it's $9.99
Of course, the 3D showings are more. I highly recommend the AMC theater app, because you can browse the difference prices for each showing of each movie... and it lists the 3D price, child, senior, etc...
Matinee? Around $8 for adults and $6 for children up to age 12. If you have an AMC Stubs card, that can get some of your fees waived if you order the tickets online.

New films always have showings on the Thursday before their official release dates now. They used to be midnight showings only but have since been expanded to several showings starting around 6:00PM or 7:00PM.
What is the matinee time for "Black Panther" Saturday?

The 11:00am showing is $4.99 for adults and children.
The 1:00pm showing is $8.49 for adults and $6.99 for children.
Everything at 4:45pm and later is $9.99 for adults and $6.99 for children.
If you try to catch the cheapest showings (like me), download the AMC app. In the "see a movie" section it breaks down all the prices for each showing. It's especially handy when considering the 3D shows.
I usually Google "movie listings dutch square mall" Then, you can tap for "more showtimes and listings" and it'll give you the option to change the date.
$5 before noon, $8.49 in afternoon, $9.99 in evening. 3D movies cost more. Download the app and tap "see a movie" and you can see the prices for each time slot of each film.
