Horrible, horrible customer service!! Extremely disrespectful, I switched apartments and called them to let them know, so they could just transfer my service, they canceled my original account and set up a new one without my permission. And now they are trying charge a set up fee. Your representative didn’t not tell they were going to change my account number and recharge me a set up fee!

Not a trusting company. Technician came out to downgrade service to basic tv channels. Tech was unable to find local channels and said he would make notes to change to internet only. I’ve come to find that I’ve been billed the for a bundle package that was never serviced here for well over a year (automated bill pay). I’ve asked for them to send a tech out to prove that there are NO channels and no cable box here, and nothing is being done to rectify the problem.

I just put in new tivo mini boxes and the new remotes are quite small. Do you have a larger version?

Why is your service so poor and inconsistent . I believe your company sabotaging customers.. Then you say my TV need technician. I hang up and called again then someone else fix the problem. Without me getting technician.

Mediacom is a scam. When we filed a complaint with the FCC they came out to the house and actually cut up our cable wires to the house. The wire they chopped up didn't even belong to them. We paid too have the wire run under ground and they chopped it up. We have Dish now 0 problems. Dish is great and a lot cheaper for a lot more channels.

Why is it so hard to get Mediacom service??????????

you need to contact the trouble resolution department. this is above the regular 800 number that you call in on. ask for the number next time you have an issue. they will credit you for list internet or tv services.they do need a lot of improvement to get to likes of Comcast or cox, but if you are rural they are better than dsl or satellite.
