So went to get a rental while my car went in shop. I scheduled it 12 days ago. No one picked me up as discussed. My husband came and dropped me off at Hertz. My reservation was not ready. I was taken to the back and chose a car. After asking about smoking all of a sudden I couldn't rent that car. Then I was given a car on the side that was not in first choices. The car does not have full tank of gas nor had it been cleaned. I am looking at paperwork that says gas tank is full. I will never rent from this place again!

These guys go above and beyond! I'm only at the start of my rental period but so far so fantastic. I had prepaid for a rental and a few days before I was supposed to pick it up I went to the local Shallotte branch to ask a few questions but mainly to see if I could slide the rental period up a few days but keep it at the same duration. I dealt with Mr Gary who I later found out to be the asst branch manager. He was kind enough to honor my request if he was be able to get a car to the location by end of day. He called me mid afternoon just as he said he would and he had a vehicle for me. The pick up process was by far the simplest and most pleasant that I've had. Mr Gary was helpful, courteous and had a great sense of humor. If you're in the Myrtle Beach/Brunswick county area, he is the man to see!
