I hope receiving your license doesn't require you chase them like I've had to. They emailed me as if they were trying to push the process forward but waiting on my scores, only to overlook that my scores were actually sent in the same day. I had to call/email a week later just to get them to check again for my scores. Very aggravating when you already have a job lined up, but waiting on your overlooked license to be issued/mailed.

Absolutely a joke! they want to issue citations and won’t respond to emails, phone calls ect. Just a money grabbing place with incompetent people working there! Par for the course in a gov office

I spoke with a woman about my dental hygiene license and she was very nice, answered my questions and fixed an issue I had in under 5 minutes. Thank you

Only giving 2 stars because of the second person I talked to on the phone saved the situation a bit. But the first woman I talked to, whom never stated her name, hung up on me and was extremely rude. People pay lots of money to get licensed, and the least people can do as a JOB THEY CHOOSE is to at least be nice, and NOT hang up on someone. Completely disgusted at that first person I spoke to, but pleased with the second man.

If you want to verify they are licensed, you can go on the llr website. If you want to verify they are a valid business, go to sc secretary of state. You can search business names there.
I would call the employment board and someone can guide you. That's what I did
That is the dept of revenue at 803 898 5000
You can file an online complaint at llr.sc.gov.

Yes but if there is actually a cut in pay, the employer must give a 7 day written notice prior to the reduction in pay. If no notice is given, it would be a violation.
Through a judgement against them
Yes under federal labor law
