Dee was absolutely amazing as our server! She was professional, knowledgeable & personable! She made the experience wonderful! The guy in training tonight was so friendly & made sure we had bread & oil! He will make an excellent server for sure! The food was absolutely amazing! We had the fried green tomato appetizer, she crab soup, pork porterhouse & fried seafoood platter.

OMG this was the best food ever! Start off with great bread. She crab soup is to die for. I got Flounder dinner and it was great. The okra pancake was fabulous. The tomato shrimp stew was very good, I got it on the side and added it to the Flounder. My sister got Shrimp and grits and said it was best she ever had. Other sister got steak and it was cooked the way she likes it (she usually has to send it back but not at Chives). We got 1 of each of the desserts and each was excellent. Bob our waiter was exceptional. Great great dinning experience. Loved the outdoor seating except for a few flying bugs. Must go to!

I'm writing this as I'm finishing my meal. I'm at a loss for words. Delicious doesn't do justice to what I had. Hands down the best meal I have ever had. The service was fantastic as well. 5 stars and we can't wait to eat here again!

I have been calling as well and no one answers or the phone goes dead. really annoying since I wanted to make reservations for the only night I am in town!
I did it 3 days before as it was Mother's day.
They have reduced the number of tables. Staff are all wearing masks. They have added outside dining, weather permitting.
Hey Bill! Thanks for the question. While restaurants were allowed to go back to 100% occupancy we did not opt to do that. Our space is quaint on the inside. We also have outdoor seating, weather permitting. Please be aware we have strict cleaning guidelines for our staff and work hard to make sure the staff and our customers are healthy and safe.
