I went there to pay my property tax for car. They were extremely efficient and fast. No line at the tax office but a line out the door for a driver's license.

The people who work in the treasurer's office are worthless, and dont know anything! I ended up having to pay my registration fees twice even after I provided documentation. If you don't wnat to deal with a bunch of incompetent rude pepole, avoid this branch.

I have to say the 2 last times I went to the DMV, I had a very nice experience and everybody was very helpful and nice! The lady today was Especially SUPER helpful to help me with my insurance's matter (wrong doing on my insurance). Thanks again!

Not sure why most of these people love the dmv but this is by far the worst one😂😂workers are rude, half of them are just sitting around. Takes hours just to get a picture taken:)

I dont see why not. The other day they did have problems with social security network being down but there were kids still taking their tests, just not being issued licenses because of the technical problems

I've found it best to go there in the rain... super busy dmv, for whatever reason it's very much a ghost town when it rains
You'd have to go to the DMV and apply for a special tag.
Proof of insurance, lease agreement, license, if you need a sc license then your old license and 2 utility bills to show proof of address.
Was there 3/23, seemed they were accepting plates as a drop off. However, I was there to register a camper. As a walk in it took 3 hours.of waiting.
Not required but highly recommended. If you don't have one, they will try to fit you in, but it's far from guaranteed and you might sit there all day just to be told to go home
Yes. Thats what I've done in the past. Thats the only way to keep them from not bothering you about having insurance. If you still have the tags, they want insurance on the vehicle, even if you don't have it anymore. They'll eventually send an officer to pick the tags up if you don't turn them in 👍🏼

The DMV will mail you the decal in a few days after paying your taxes. You get the registration, normally when you buy the car. It is a small printed card, It costs a few dollars to have it replace it at the DMV if lost,
