Had a great time with the kids at the wave pool here, lots of fun especially with the tubes! There’s a separate splash area with slides and a structure but is only really for younger kids. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because you have to pay to get in even if you are not participating in the water and are only there to supervise.

The playground area needs to be updated. Needs fencing all the way around it with a latch gate, that toddlers can't get open. More safe equipment for kids play on. It's shame I live so close to this park, but it's just not safe playground or that entertaining to take my grandchildren there, I have a autistic grandson that needs to play in a safe environment.

The water part is not ready to welcome people . Because: 1-The rest rooms are very dirty and not clean at all. No maintenance at all. No toilet paper available. Smells very bad. 2-The water fountain near the restroom is broken. No one have thought about fixing it before opening the park. 3-The cafeteria is closed. No food or drinks available for sale for public. 4-The water slides in the back are not operating. 5-A lot of big umbrellas do not have fabric to cover it. People sat under the direct sun, Absorbing all the heat. 6-The lifeguards are not bank enough attention despite tapping seven of them standing near the wave pool. One of the guests was drowning in the deep water, no one off the guards so the guy. One of the other guests saved the guys life. The overall experience was disappointing.

Walked trails around 7am to 10 am. Has both natural ,and paved trails. Not a huge problem with insects in the wooded area, however it was early. A simple squirt of OFF ,on my cap ,did the trick. Impossible to get lost on trails. Lots of large birds , and other wildlife. Remember to keep to your right, or go single file for fast walkers ,or cyclists. Lush and green. If you come in the early spring you can see more of the birds on the water ,before it gets too bushy. Remember NO littering. Saw masks, and other things every once in a while. There are several clean porta jons, and trash cans everywhere. Dog clean up bags are even on the trails. Lots of shaded areas to sit and eat, even on the trails. Park has tennis courts, volleyball nets, several children’s areas, BMX course, and of course the waterpark. A toboggan run is available during winter. Due to covid most is closed, except the trails and a few other areas. If my review was helpful, please like and follow me please!

I have seen posts where they are trying to hire staff but they are trying to open the water park. The hiking trails are wonderful all of the time, even in the rain.
