My first apartment in Alabama after moving here from California, The View Apartments will always hold a special place in my heart. This review is coming from a stay at home mom with no vehicle, so I truly lived here nearly 24/7. The property is kept clean and inviting. While it is nearly impossible to leave the property without a vehicle—as it is located at the top of a very steep hill—I absolutely loved my daily walk up and down the parking lot. The apartments are surrounded by trees—hence the fitting name, “The View Apartments”; you can truly enjoy a beautiful view—and Dixie and Jennifer, along with their maintenance team (all with whom are also very pleasant to interact), are always outside planting new flowers, trees, and ferns. They are extremely responsive to concerns, so my family and I always felt well taken care of. Lastly, at The View, you are surrounded by wonderful neighbors around whom you always feel safe. If it hadn’t been for my husband’s work transfer to another city, we would still be living here. Thank you, The View Apartments!

These apartments are the greatest, they are so clean and well maintained. If a problem arises management is there for you. The management is fascistic, they treat you like you are one of the family. I would recommend these apartments to anyone.

Best apartment complex I could ever wish for! The apartments are neat, modern, well taken care of, and highly functional. The complex sits on a ridge in a wooded area, so despite being in this city you can look out your window and see nothing but trees. I enjoy seeing wildlife when I walk outside: squirrels, deer and the occasional pack of armadillos. The landowners are extremely helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. There has never been an instance where they were not available or willing to help in any way. If you are moving to Alabaster, or anywhere in the surrounding area for that matter, this is the place to be!!

.ALABASTER'S BEST APARTMENTS! As one who moves frequently for work, I've rented at a number of apartment complexes, and I've found The View Apartments to be the best rental deal I've ever experienced. Its location, atop the ridge behind Shelby Baptist Hospital, places it close to shopping, healthcare, and entertainment, but away from traffic and most noise. And to discover why it's named as it is, just wait for the winter view from atop the ridge. It's lovely! By far, though, its most sellable feature is the quality of management. It is managed by its owners, and not by an employee of a distant corporation, as I've often found in other places. This means that detailed attention is given to the condition of the buildings and grounds on a constant basis, repairs and unexpected emergencies are handled with speed and competence, and the owners are on site almost daily. The Owner’s long experience with building construction and landscaping shows in the good repair of the buildings and the beauty of the grounds, contributing immensely to the livability and quality of life of the tenants. And the high integrity and professionalism with which she conducts business is deeply appreciated by those of us who've had less than stellar experiences with some other rentals. In summary, not only will one get living space kept in good repair and in well-tended, lovely surroundings at The View, but one will get extremely ethical, competent and responsive management. As one who's rented several times before, believe me when I say that that's worth more than gold.
