The Sentimentalist is so sweet! I ended up finding my dress elsewhere but could not pass up the chance to brag on this place! It was the first place we shopped for a dress and Hannah was wonderful to us. She was welcoming, personable, and never made me feel uncomfortable or pressured in any way, which I appreciated greatly. She let me take my time in each dress because it took me a while to process each one. She helped me narrow down what I liked and what I was looking for because when I came in I realized I wasn’t fully sure what I wanted. I found some incredible dresses here with such unique options (and the customization options are so awesome). The dress I liked the most just didn’t “speak to me” as my bridal dress like the one I ended up finding on another day. Despite that I will ALWAYS recommend this place to anyone I know looking for a dress.

Such an incredible experience! The store is beautiful, big windows, great lighting, comfy spaces for you and your guests. Phae was my stylist and she is truly an expert in her craft. She listened to what I was looking for, was intentional about guiding me and helped me articulate what it was I liked about different dresses. I felt so at ease. When I found my dress she styled a complete bridal look so I could envision wearing it on my wedding day and feel confident in my decision. There was no self interest or pressure, just a talented design eye and support throughout the process. So grateful to the people that work here and the incredible experience they curate for their brides.

Picked up my dress today and I could just cry. It’s more beautiful than I could ever imagine. Their knowledgeable staff helped me with customizing a dress from one of the designers. Anytime I had a question they were prompt to reply by email or always available by phone during business hours. Even though I went to all my appointments alone, it never felt that way. We are not a bridal consignment shop. However, on a case-by-case basis, we do purchase truly vintage dresses (from the 1920s to 1980s) for our vintage collection. If you have a vintage dress you're interested in selling, please send us an email with a photo or two of the dress, including any potential flaws, and we can let you know pretty quickly if it's something we are interested in. We are currently open by appointment only and are enforcing a bride + 2 guests limit for each bride, spacing out parties in time and in the shop to the best of our ability. We are also requiring everyone wear masks while in the shop and sanitizing surfaces, spaces, dresses, and accessories between each appointment. And—MOST IMPORTANTLY—we are asking clients to reschedule if they are at all ill, recovering from illness, or have been in recent contact with anyone with Covid-19. We keep our health & safety details on our Google listing up-to-date as well.
