The good: Quiet at night, clean bathhouse, people were friendly. Needs improvement: No camp store (being remodeled), have to drive to Ingles to get anything at all, facilities overall seem quite run down. Feels like you're camping in a trailer park more than a campground. When remodeling is done, I may check it out again, but I honestly couldn't recommend it now. Like I said, folks were nice, place has potential. I hope they get it turned around up here.

This is a fantastic place to camp. Close to lake lure and chimney rock... Very quiet and Glenn and team are super nice and very happy to assist you in any way... Go enjoy

Was in the area for rock climbing at Rumbling Bald that is about 15 minutes down the road. Super clean campsite and bathrooms/showers. Laura, the campgrounds host, was super friendly and helpful and even brought all of us popsicles. There is an awesome supermarket right down the road that sells just about everything you will need.

Definetly not a five, but not a one either. Works in a pinch. Office area needs cleaning up. Shower house not at all private between mens/womens.

Nope. Personal land and stocked pond. Enjoy the fishing. My youngest Son spent 3 days fishing and didn't complain once about no phone service. I was impressed.

Well Victoria I can't say yes or no you have to speak to Glenn about that. My wife and I split a little over 2 years ago and my agreement with him is a little different than with most people. The only thing I can tell you for sure is that I make payments month to month. So give a call to Glenn and see what you can work out. Best of luck to you, Richard.
I been at this campground for almost 2 yrs ..everyone is very friendly the staff most definitely the BEST! They go out of their way to make you feel at home. Call the office today! 😊
