Happy to report that Mama Kim’s is still banging out fantastic Korean food - and get this, they’re doing it on king street all the way till 10pm! Get yourself a bottle of soju and literally order anything on the menu that sounds good. It’s all fabulous. The kimchi is perfectly balanced, and gives a great fresh kick. The staff are all efficient, kind, and thoughtful. Happy to report that mama Kim herself has been able to retire, and new owner Jae and his brother Lee and the rest of the fam are doing an amazing job carrying on the legacy. Mama Kim’s is here to stay. If you haven’t been, don’t hesitate to try it! They have everything from traditional Korean dishes to hibachi and gimbap. Personally I recommend the japchae and the dubu jiggae. But you cannot go wrong here. Come treat yourself to a perfect Korean meal!!!

Rude. Dirty. Everything tasted like soy sauce and sugar. They took our order wrong and we were asked to pay the difference by 3 different people - and were even told that we wouldn't get the rest of our food unless we paid the difference. The difference was $6.
