I have had pecan pralines across the country and these are absolutely the worst and extremely expensive. Don’t waste your money here.

Went there today to buy some pralines after a lovely day visiting. I stood in front of the glass display unit about to tell the brown haired white woman what I wanted. She turned and went into the back without speaking and stayed back there awhile. I stood and waited, the other two employees were behind the other counter - back female was actively making more pralines, don't know what the white male was doing. The white male came over & stepped behind the counter, not to help me, to get a free praline for another customer (who came in after me) to sample. I asked, if anyone would be able to help me, he said sure, but continued to give away the free praline (after pulling something off of his shoe.) A group of older people came in while I stood there. They went to the other side of the counter at which time the brown haired woman (FINALLY) returned from the back of the store and went straight to help the group. while I still stood there. If it wasn't racism it was incompetence. Sometimes we have to be reminded of how people really are. I had had such a lovely day up to that point. You are not a good representative for the city's hospitality.

Very delicious gelato! I see why so many recommended this classic Charleston candy shop. Their pralines are huge and they have a bunch of different sweets to satisfy the biggest sweet tooth.
