This place was kinda boring, but I really felt I was the life of the party. It was like walking through a cemetery or something. The place was a wreck and looked like the "perpetual care" hadn't been around in some while. The flowers were left for dead as were the occupants. The rusty green trashcans were filled with the lifeless corpses of many artificial flowers that had served their better days atop cold granite headstones despite weather or conditions. Trees throughout the place were filled with limbs just as dead. For this to be a place of reflection and remembrance, I left feeling more a sense of despair at the condition surrounding my loved one's graveside. Shame on the proprietors of this establishment for allowing the place to become so run down. That's exactly why I want to be cremated.

I lived beside Bowan Farms directly across the street from this place for years, even played there as a kid. Beautiful place accented with lots of hanging moss and bamboo trees that always had somewhat of a mystic and majestic feel to it. It even has a small creek that runs through it where dear can be seen. Love the unmarked white crosses in the front. I've always heard that they were for fallen soldiers found without name-tags, though Im unsure. Definitely different and with a much older and more original feel than other cemeteries. Alot of history here. Rest in Peace to my good friend Bill Thompson (("Billy-T")) honored with a spot right in front alongside those lovely white plain white unmarked crosses that always held so much mystery and often intrigued me. 😢In memory of Billy-T Miss you dearly old friend, 💔Untill we meet again...

Lot of family members buried here. The people are really great to help you in your time of grief.

I live across the street from the cemetery I have seen electrical flowers sometimes shimmering in the night but I think you would be best to check the cemetery office but sometimes they look so beautiful I don't see why they wouldn't let you honor your family in that way
Check with the office located on the old silverbrook cemetery
