Yes, One Roof would be a great place to donate shoes! They have a thrift store but if anyone cannot afford even the low cost there, they are allowed to pick out clothes and shoes at no cost. They are also opening a shelter for women and children and could possibly use the donations there.

Yes they accept donations. I did community service there and my main tasks was taking, sort, and cleaning donations.

I would contact either the local DFACS office or you could get in touch with the Center for Community Improvement. I'm sure you'll have lots of red tape to go through to get started, but the rewards will be worth it all. If you aren't able to get anywhere with those 2, I'd personally go see Ms. Creel at Salvation Army in Newnan. It's behind the shopping center behind Vapes Gone Wild. Hello, yes we can take it off your hands. We are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from noon-4pm. There is not a homeless shelter for young woman in Newnan. There is a place called The Restoration House for teenage girls in Newnan. Unfortunately the closet shelters are in Carrollton Ga that I'm aware of.

This organization helps the community with food,clothing, temporary housing if funds are available,I also so believe they help with utilities if funds are available. Call and ask for David or speak to any of the young ladies to see where they have the most need.
