The front office staff are surprisingly amiable and helpful. The actual doctors and the director of this practice are not. They are anywhere from passive and frustratingly stubborn to unabashed bullies who are actively participating in the "medical ghost loop"; a practice where you essentially refer people out constantly or you cancel appointments with a patient over and over and over again or you drop them as a patient entirely for reasons that you will not explain unless extreme pressure is applied, and that patient gets ghosted constantly and goes in a loop over and over and over again until they either give up or commit suicide, or step outside of your obnoxious loop and seek outside help, and get lucky. Most patients aren't aware that this is a thing, but most patients don't actually have somebody in their family who have witnessed this experience multiple times, who work in insurance who know that this is something that insurance companies often press or encourage, and most people don't have doctors in their family that they can send their MRI results to for consultation when another doctor claims that it's inconclusive and shows nothing even though the MRI doctor marked problematic spots. I generally don't leave bad reviews on medical practices on Google because due to HIPAA laws, the medical practice can't respond. They just have to take the hit to their reputation. But the truth of the matter is, the spinal center deserves that hit, what they're doing is wrong and dangerous. Dr. Karl Boehart is a monster, and I've recorded our conversation, sent it to a friend who asked me if it was possible that I was overreacting, and after listening to it, responded with the following message: "what the actual f***? Do doctors not have to take hippocratic oaths anymore?" So although I can't dive into the details here, I certainly can provide that context for anyone unfortunate enough to be scheduled to see him. Let me go further to say that if you are new to this practice and he is the doctor that you are recommended, refuse to see him. Ask for a different doctor. And if they refuse, see a different spine center. There are other spine specialists in South carolina, and quite frankly you probably should go to a different one anyway. Especially if you are a female patient, it will be easy for you to get reassigned and I highly recommend you do that. At any rate, I did file a complaint with the hospital about him, and I took the high road in every way possible up until this point, where the lying and mismanagement of this offices upper staff has pushed me to having no other option but to warn the public to stay away from this office.

I have seen three of these doctors and every one of them are awesome, you won't find a better doctor's office than these doctors. Dennis
