Fabulous facility and super staffing.

A great camp facility for special people. Campers can attend one or more weeks in June and July each summer to enjoy life. Outstanding staff of employees and volunteer! Always loving and supportive. Great community!

One of the best camp grounds I have ever been too. The facility are top notch and the staff is incredible! If you are looking g for a venue for a corporate team building or want to celebrate with friends and family this is the place for you. The cabins are very comfortable and strike a perfect balance between roughing it and having the luxury’s of home.

When you consider that Camp Spearhead is run (I think it is even owned) by a government entity, in this case Greenville County Parks and Rec in South Carolina, and is not a private enterprise, it is even more incredible. The facilities are are first-rate. Not some run-down dump with years of deferred maintenance one thinks about about government-run organizations. The staff running this camp are truly gifted, compassionate people with a real gift of service. The setting is completely peaceful. The camp primarily serves the special needs population of the Carolinas, but also runs weeks for corporate leadership events and team-building retreats. The buildings and grounds are well maintained. Amenities include a swimming pool, an alpine tower, a zip line, fishing pond, and archery, and rope course. While the buildings and site itself are very nice for a retreat center, the staff are the real stars. Incredible people. If you have a special needs family member, have someone who is stricken with cancer, or are a company looking for that non-resort, ever so special place to hold a corporate leadership retreat, look at Camp Spearhead for your next camp or retreat experience. Hats off to Greenville County Parks and Rec. ***Highly recommended ***
