The room was really dirty, the floors were filthy and sticky, counters really sticy, toilet seat nasty and gross, shower head leaking water all over the bathroom, no towels, smoke detectors covered with tape not to code with fire department. Light switches plate had fingertips mars all over. We were told the 4th floor is being remodeled and they are not done. There's is no reason to have a dirty room because of remodeling, they shouldn't allowed people to stay in the 4th floor if it is not done.

I travel for a living and this is by far the worst location because of the staff.This is the second time they gave my room away before I could arrive and get checked in. Leaving me scrambling to find a room after a 700 mile drive. This time they had the front door locked and it took 25 minutes before someone opened it so that I could get my money refunded. I definitely will never stay with them again.

We have been staying at this hotel for the past 6 years when visiting our daughter. It used to be a great hotel and has gone extremely downhill. We were awakened at 8:00 am on Saturday to incessant banging. The 5th floor is undergoing renovations. That’s great, but nothing was mentioned on the app or website. We would have chosen a room on a lower floor away from the noise. When discussing it with the front desk, she immediately became rude and hostile rather than offering a solution such moving us to a lower level. She blamed us, raised her voice was inappropriate and combative. Unacceptable! The room was subpar…stained sticky carpet; only sheets on the bed; torn blinds; dingy/smelly pillows that looked old with no pillowcase; broken shower door; and bathroom sink that backed up. For the high price, the hotel was completely unacceptable and on the level of a glorified Motel 6. I am disappointed to say we will look for alternate accommodations in LaGrange during our next visit. Do better Hilton/Hampton!!!

The accommodations were surpassed only by the excellent staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Tha pool was indoors and enjoyable. The fitness center and breakfast added to the great experience.
