A reservation for a truck was placed the day before for 8am, one was not made available till 8:40. The people that arrived before us had put their reservation in 2 days in advance and had to wait just as long as we did. To summarize the post, if you have plans that are time restricted, go somewhere else.

Alex was a pleasure to deal with and a tremendous help. We had a SUV reservation for a extended trip and we asked his advice on a vehicle. He suggested switching to a van and we were so glad we followed his advice. Very roomy we lots of space for 4 people, golf clubs and luggage. Thank you Ales!!!!! Highly recommend.

Was given one price at the counter and double checked with rental support on the phone and confirmed $168 is what I would get charged. So far I have been charged $795. This is not the Budget car rental of 15 years ago where people were friendly and helpful and explained all the charges I would get plus any possible charges. I figured I would be charged 168 plus tolls but I doubt that I amassed about $600 in tolls. I only had the car from Friday morning to Sunday morning (2 days). So, some how I am paying almost $400 dollars a day for the rental. Thanks Budget!

We planned a trip to Paducah Ky leaving from Leesburg Fl on a Tuesday in April. We booked the 12 passenger van 6 months in advance. We called the location the day before 15 times to confirm the reservation but couldn’t get the location to answer their phone. Having a confirmation number and having booked 6 months ahead of the trip we proceed. The day of the trip our group met at the budget location to board to van. However there is a problem, Budget doesn’t have the van, doesn’t know when it will be available or even if it will be available. Keep in mind we have hotels reserved and 8 senior women with luggage that have been dropped off for the trip. When the manager is questioned he strongly feels that it’s not his companies fault and has no desire to help locate transport for our group. Nor do they have a single vehicle at all on the lot. He wouldn’t call another location or even another company, leaving our group to figure it out on our own. We requested that the reservation stand in hopes the van would be delivered while we attempt to arrange other same day transportation but he optioned to cancel our reservation after two hours. Needless to say we had our trip ruined by not having the van we booked 6 months beforehand. To be clear Budget made no attempt to rectify the problem. As a result lost the business of the eight ladies who will also be sharing this situation with their Large influential ladies group that spans all of Lake, Sumter, Orange County and beyond.
