Charlotte Fabrics is quickly becoming the #1 fabric supplier for our upholstery shop Yellow Chair Upholstery. The customer service is quick, helpful, and kind. And the website is extremely easy to navigate for samples, orders, and showing clients mocked up furniture examples in their fabric choices. We only ever had one issue with fabric arriving dirty (likely FedEx issue) and they quickly sent more for us to finish the sofa. Vinyl I bought to recover my RV sofa didn't hold up. After less than 2 years, vinyl was separating from the backing. Their warranty offers replacement fabric. Reupholstering costs not included. I have a boat with 20 year old vinyl and it still looks great. I buy my next vinyl somewhere else. Update November 2022: Charlotte Fabrics told me to contact the company I bought the vinyl from for warranty replacement. I did and they never answered my email. Second photo show what vinyl looked like when I removed it to recover my RV sofa. I also had to recover my RV dinette set. I bought replacement vinyl from RecPro because I bought a recliner from them and the vinyl is holding up well after 3 years.

I was very impressed how all the fabric samples I received from Charlotte Fabrics were neatly cut and clearly labeled with details that helped me to make my final decisions. I requested several samples from many other vendors and was not impressed with their process or their samples. In some cases I paid for small scraps that were haphazardly cut, and poorly labeled if at all…this lack of professionalism did not impress me and most certainly gave me pause to consider purchasing any yardage for my upholstery projects. My experience obtaining fabric samples through Charlotte Fabrics is “the exception, not the rule,” and set them far apart. They maintain a large and lovely selection of quality fabric that more than met my needs. Shipping was first rate and fast. All expectations were exceeded. With no upfront charges, they earn your business. They demonstrated their excellent business practices from first contact right through to the fabric delivery. As a result I asked my upholsterer to deal with Charlotte Fabrics, and I am happy to report she has since received the same excellent customer service.
