Roni Mangan
Staff is fabulous, every single one of them, every single visit. Have not been dissatisfied with one item. Nice and healthy plants, terrific selections. Fair pricing.

Incredible plants, great prices, plants that we bought are doing great. The hibiscus has incredible flowers 3 weeks after we bought it.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
We should have them available in a few weeks - they are being transplanted this week! :-)
We will have Yoshino Weeping Cherries for sale during our fall sale Sept 25-Oct 31, but won't have any edible cherry trees available until next spring during our main season.
We do indeed! Sorry if this question was asked a while ago - Google My Business is very hard to manage and they don't notify us of questions (or show when they were asked)! :-)
We do - the fuchsia is in a 10" basket for $10, and the Mandevilla is in a porch pot with a variation of trellis options and colors - ranging from $18-25 (3 plants per porch pot).
Sorry for the delayed answer from us - the email notifications were going to a different folder and I wasn't seeing them! We do have a range of blueberries at $15 for a 3Gal. I've heard that Lance is digging up all of his bushes and selling out - not sure what he's charging but they are likely worth $100 - extremely large and mature. We only deal with potted shrubs and trees and sizes that are able to be transferred by customers without too much effort (we don't deliver). Hope this all helps!
Sadly we are sold out of the Flame Azaleas, but we do have native Swamp and Pinxster Azaleas as well as some cultivars that are a similar orange color. Mountain Laurel is all gone for the season - hope to have more for the fall!
Hi Elizabeth, Yes, we are able to take back select sizes: - 1 gallon sized pots or larger - Trays from Painters (the flats used to hold the pots) We cannot accept 6" or smaller as we are unable to efficiently reuse the smaller sizes. If your pots or trays are from another nursery, we aren't able to reuse them and unfortunately have no better source for potentially recycling them than the average consumer... our supplier will only recycle their own plastics. Last we've heard, Lowes was able to recycle all types of pots and trays - so that's worth checking!
We only sell them in the fall, sorry!
We do - though they're going fast!
Yes you may! We recently updated our policy to include just that kind of pup (or other pet). :-)
Yes we have both! You can view our full availability lists on our website for more perusing!
No, afraid not - we don't have any native bamboo we could find to grow, and we don't want to sell any of the non-native due to it's highly invasive tendencies. I think there may be a bamboo farm within a few hours of us though - try a search online!
We do but unfortunately, we are closed until the fall!
We are currently in between crops - likely won't have our next batch ready for another 2-3 weeks/end of the month!
No, I'm sorry, we are out of Schip Laurels and cannot source any mofre from any of our wholesale nurseries.
We have Winecraft Smokebush - it's lovely, but not crimson!
We sold out of our Mountain Fire Pieris several weeks ago. The only variety we have now is Cavatine in a 5 gal. pot for $50. Also, we do not have Monet Weigela. The varieties we currently have our Sonic Boom, Spilled Wine (dark leaf) @ $32 in 3 gal. size and a variegated leaf one in 2 gal. @ $15.
Hi Bobi - I'm not sure if you called or emailed to get your answer yet, but as of today we have several varieties of Camellias available: White Perfection, Yuletide, Midnight Lover and Winter Star are in stock. Give us a call if you have any more questions regarding the Camellias. Take care and thanks for thinking of us!
We have Willowleafed Sunflower Autumn Gold which is a perennial.
Yes, you can. Masking required and social distancing.
No, afraid not. We may have blue available next week but not likely white.
We do carry flames... we have about 20 right now (3G for $36) but unfortunately are not able to hold items for more than 48 hours due to limited space/staffing and many, many requests! Maybe someone can pick them up for you sooner? We might have some left by then, but can't say for sure as they are popular.
Our next batch of Angel Trumpets is two or three weeks out... when ready, they will be $8 in a 1Gal pot!
No, I'm sorry, we do not have Agapanthus this year. If you have any other availability questions you can access our full availability list on our website under the Availability tab.
Yes we do - a wide variety at $20! (I'm one of the owners.)
Yes, we will have Dragon's Blood Sedum
Hi Kelly - We will have 2 gallon Washington Hawthorn (Crataegus phaenopyrum) for $16 each. We will update our website with our tree and shrub availability/price list hopefully next week. Hope to see you when we open!
Yes, it will - in particular in light of COVID challenges, we will be honoring all gift certificates through 2021. :-)
Hey Nancy! Im just a customer but yesterday was the last day they were open for the summer. They are going to have a fall sale, just watch for it. They have AWESOME plants, i drive from hendersonville for them😀
We are open Wednesday-Friday 9-5, Saturday & Sunday 9-4. Closed Mondays & Tuesdays. :-)
We do indeed have lemon grass - they are in 1G pots (larger plants) for $8.
Apples in a couple weeks, and no persimmons currently (still looking). We have American Chestnut “Duncan”.
Hi Lacey - No, we do not sell Christmas trees. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season and we'll see you in the new year. We will open for spring season on March 11. Take care.
Hi Patti... sorry I missed this, not sure when you asked it. We have a trailing vinca (annual) like the bedding but with narrower unique blooms that we have in baskets (the name is Soiree series). If you mean the ground cover vinca, we have some in production (someone bought us out), and it will hopefully be ready in two weeks!
Sorry I missed this... not sure when you asked, but we do have Asparagus Ferns - most are in 10" baskets or porch pots on trellises, and we have more 4" smaller ones coming on in another week or two.
Sorry, I'm not sure how long ago you asked - I'm not getting notifications in my Painters email! We do indeed - A LOT, at only $1.50 each.
I'm afraid we only have the FoamFlower!
We do have huechera, but we are out of bluebells. My apologies if you asked this a while ago - Google is not sending us notifications of questions as it is supposed to!
Yup! Coral Pink, Deep Rose, Fire Red, Neon Pink, Compact Orange, Compact Pink Berry, Compact Purple, Compact Royal Magenta, Compact White, and Vigorous Pink Kiss (haha, yes, that's a real variety name).
We currently have Arkansas Black, Fuji, Gala, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Honey Crisp, Pink Lady, Red Delicious, Stayman Winesap and Wolf River - they're all in 3G pots for $20.
We can sell them now, but they are still a little bit yellow/unhappy... they green up a lot when the water warms up... usually by late April. But they're doing ok if you want to get them now.
Our hanging baskets will be on sale during our Mother's Day Sale this year - from May 8-19th.
Our swamp milkweed is ready now, but the butterfly and common milkweed need a few more weeks!
Hi Kathleen :-) We have several varieties of Baptisia, though may not have any Carolina Moonlight as that one has struggled for us over the wet winter. They are still mostly dormant, so we will have a better idea of which ones made it through healthy within the next few weeks. We do have Pennsylvania Sedge as well as many other native grasses and herbaceous and woody natives. (We will be updating our native plant list on the website this weekend, but in the meantime, you can peruse our general Availability at www.paintersgreenhouse.com). We recommend folks looking for a range of natives to visit us mid April or later as many of the natives are still dormant now. Hope this helps!
Thank you. I hope to be up Sunday. This will be my first time being there and I am so excited. I have been following on ig for about a year.
We have venus flytraps, pitcher plants and a few sundew (all still a bit young, ready for sale around mid April), but unfortunately no nepenthes.
Yes we will... we have it in a 1G pot, for around $8-9 (still determining our price list!).
Sorry I missed your question on here, Renata - Google was sending them to my Promotions folder and they were getting missed! For anyone else wondering, our milkweed won't be out of dormancy until May.
We are open 10-6 on Wednesday, and yes - all shrubs and trees are 25% off!
We actually don't... we've had a lot of doggie tiffs, accidents, and disruptive barking over the years, so we only allow service animals. Plus, it gets so darn hot here, we worry about the pups on the concrete and in the greenhouses!
We do!
We do indeed have them now - as well as several other colors!
Yes - it is going on now through Mother's Day (Sunday)! You can view the details of the sale on our website calendar.
Yes we do - in 8" pots at $9 each... very full!
Yes we do - very large/healthy, in 12-14" porch pots at $25 each (pink, red, white/yellow). Also Drift roses in same size/price.
