I am very disappointed with the overall service provided by Hilldrup. We stored with this warehouse almost all of 2021 and after constant miscommunication, we decided to have a third party pick up and install the furniture instead of using their services. During the install, we realized first our $1,500 mirror was not on the truck. I emailed Hilldrup on December 15th, 2021 as we were installing and as soon as we realized the items (Arteriors mirror and Surya art) were missing. During our first email exchanges, we were told the items were never received, then that they did not recognize the signature on the delivery documents I provided, and then that it was checked out of inventory by the third-party company we provided. We were behind the movers driving that day and arrived at the property at the same time. We were present when the truck was opened and unloaded- the mirror was never on the truck. After many follow up emails due to lack of response, I received an email from Jamie on January 20th, 2022 stating that Hilldrup did not have a receiving report for any of the items we reported missing. After I provided signed delivery documents for both the Arteriors mirror and Surya art, I finally received a receiving report from Jamie for our Surya items on February 3rd, 2022. The received date provided/written on the report was listed as June 4th, 2021 (which matched the FedEx documents I provided) but was noted as receiving report #82. According to the date on that report compared to our other reports, the received Surya items should have been report #3. This forces me to believe that the Surya items were misplaced. I would also like to point out that the receiving warehouse marked down multiple deliveries to the wrong project around the same time that these items were delivered but went missing. It is noted on all of the reports that I provided to Hilldrup. This had to be corrected from my end a few times during our time storing with Hilldrup. I did not want to write a negative review; however I have had to fight to get a response for almost 9 months. I was finally referred to Jenny within the company on July 5th, 2022. After explaining the above situation to her, almost word for word, I received the response, "I totally understand your frustration. I will discuss with Jamie and our general manager to see what we need to do from this point. Please give me a little time to investigate and I will get back with you as soon as possible" on July 6th, 2022. Since then, I have sent three follow up emails with no response. Overall, we would just like to be reimbursed for the mirror that was misplaced. I will be happy to remove this review if I could receive a response from Hilldrup.

Our trucks are not refrigerated. Any perishable item will need to be thrown away or taken by you and your family during the move. We do offer climate controlled storage so any valuable items can be stored there safely once they arrive at our warehouses.
