When floor drain backs up when you do laundry, this is an indication of a clog in either the floor drain line or main sewer. If you flush the toilet and water backs up into floor drain, then you have a clogged sewer and having a plumber clean your sewer line to the street will solve this. However if flushing toilet doesn't cause floor drain to back up, then the clog is only in floor drain, which can be fixed by cleaning the floor drain.
Auguring the toilet will usually fix this
Either the flapper or fill vavle needs replacement
The fill valve is worn out. Replacing the fill valve will fix the ptoblem.
