Yes, we clean all our rugs by hand unless machinery is needed.

We do not advise washing rugs at home. Washing rugs need to be done by an expert rug and carpet cleaners in their facilities so that bleeding of dyes, mildew, and mold does not occur.

In order to clean rugs that have urine, the cleaning needs to be done in a professional facility that can identify the correct wash process and have the means in which to remove the urine and associated odors.

If the rug for whatever reason is not washable, we would not wash them but those are few and far between.

We clean all makes of rugs, each may have a different wash process depending on the make of the rug and the issues that the rug may have.

Depending on how a rug is made, we may use vinegar to wash it, especially if the dyes are not stable.

For sanitary reasons, all rugs need to be washed from time to time. Anything in your rug that your vacuum does not reach, such as dirt, dust, or sand, causes wear on your rug. Wear on rug deteriorates your rug, whether they are machine-made or handmade rugs. Cleaning can also remove allergens from rugs that were left in damp areas or allergens left behind by pets.

Yes we do pick up and deliver rugs in the entire metro area.

We charge by the square foot. Measure the area you need cleaned and give us a rough idea about its square footage. We can then provide you withe the cost for each room. For stairways we charge by number of steps . Let us know how many steps you have and we can give you the cost for cleaning your stairway carpet.

We clean rugs using mild detergent and cold water. All rugs get thoroughly dusted and vacuumed before getting a wash. Once all dust is removed, we proceed with the wash option you have chosen to clean your rug. In almost all cases the entire process is done by hand. We clean almost all types including but not limited to handmade orientals such as new or antique Persian and Chinese rugs, kilims, dhurries, braided rugs, rag rugs, machine made rugs, tufted rugs, flokatis, synthetic fiber rugs, non handmade flat weaves and sisals.

Cleaning cost is determined by the size and the type of (i.e., hand made, machine made etc.) your rug and the cleaning process your rug needs.
