Mr. Rivas never picks up his phone and does not do his job. He sent me a letter to contact him to update some information and it took a while before I could get in contact with him. Finally got a hold of what he needed and did everything he told me to do. Was promised that he would update my information on time so that I would get payment for the next month. Did not happen. Not only that every time I would call to get an update there was a new lie and could never get a hold of him, like he is hiding or something. Asked for complaint number and was lied that it was not possible. Was hung up on also. Every time it was a different reason as to why I did not receive my benefits for the month like I was supposed to. I hope the supervisors of this office sees and realizes they have people working there that do not do their job properly.

Went in to fix an issue with my application for SS and it took less than 30 minutes to be seen and about an hour to fix the issue. Staff was excellent. Thanks.

Mr. Warlick had wife and me out in less de 15 minutes. Totally satisfied with his good attention. And then the lady at the entrance is very nice. Excellent attention!

You can call the 800 number but it's best to go to the office so you can talk to someone there. I believe that they close early on Wednesday at 12
No you can go to the office and get it by taking a number or you can also go online and it's not that hard to do it as you can see all you need to start the process of applying for disability.
You can find this information on the SSA website. You need to make an account and all the information you need is there for you when you need to review it.
I come to work to Gainesville and I losted I am New here have to work 6 days I do have a phone but I need to have that so I can have a driver licencian to y game me an appointment fori saturday
I turn 65 in September 2021 how do I signed up for Medicare
You have to be 65 or older to keep your widow pension to draw it if you get married.
It’s free
Walk in is best option preferably in morning to beat the rush.
Call social security and schedule an appt you can also do a phone appointment
Need to change my address eherr my check go now. Ive cslled and callef
You can walk in take a number
Two forms of ID... It can be your ID/license and your birth certificate... If Im not mistaken the gentlemen at the office said just my ID/license would have sufficed.
Can i use a jail id
Go to the Medicare site or call them to apply. You must do this at least three months before turning 65.
who are you trying to reach?
Yes
No, you can choose to receive half of your husband's amount, or all of yours. Not both. If you decide to tks husbands acount, you can switch to your own at a later date. The longer you wait to use your own, the more you will get.
You should have gotten a 1099. If not call SS. It's probably shown on your MySocialSecurity page s well.
You can do that online
Yes. I had to mail papers to get replacement ss card. They also have a drop box in the office during business hours to put papers in. Since they are not doing in person. The envelope i recieved was the same address.
Call and make an appt
You can call and make an appointment.
No u need to call first for appointment
No
I think you have to mail in your info. They have a horrible way of making appointments -_-
Appointment only call them first
Go to Social Security website, submit current accurate info and they will mail you one. Quicker and easier!
For majority of the services, You can just walk-in and take the appt sequence number from the kiosk.
Appt is not required. Can walk in and take token at the entrance, for the required service.
Call or use the website
They have a requirement to have someone who speaks Spanish. Your language is one of the first questions on the sign in.
Yes or call
I dont no but good for you
I believe so.
As of 6/23/22 the Gainesville office is open Monday-Friday from 9am- 4pm. You do NOT have to have an appointment. You can walk in.
Any state facility they're all the same
Look it up on the web
Is is about a worker? They have supervisors.
It depends. If you're going to school, if you're disabled etc...and a bunch of things. It's best to either create your online account or go there in person and find out. Because it really depends on your circumstances
If you do this online you don't have to go any office
No you will need something to verify your residence as well such as a utility bill or something like a doctor statement
Good practice to have it but they usually ask for picture id
No, SSI would be difficult for you as you now have your new husband's income and it would be used as such in determining whether you are able to receive any additional money from SSA.
You can go online and make an account and do it or go to the SSA and get an application for a replacement card. I recommend you go on days such as later in the week as Monday is a busier than usual as well as those times when checks are due1
There is no fax number
Call your bank and report it stolen ASAP they will send a new debit card and cancel the old one. Do it ASAP so that you will not be liable for any purchases made.
It's best to make your way to the office itself as that way you are face to face with a real person. I know that it could take a while depending on the time you go, but prepare for the wait!
Yes. You only need your drivers license and answer a few questions about yourself.
Bring two forms of ID (ie. Drivers license, state ID, birth certificate) to the social security office and wait till your number gets called... They will provide you with a temp. SS card (letter confirming you will be getting one in the mail)... Then they send it to you to whatever address you give them when you apply for a replacement.
