Best and FRESHEST meat in town, as meat is butchered on site from their own stock, which also means no unnecessary antibiotics since their stock isn't exposed to other herds as those in commercial stock yards are. As close to "organic" meat you can get without the official certification, and the higher price that comes with that certification. They have three options: fresh butcher counter where meat can be cut to order; packaged and refrigerated cuts like briskets or slabs of ribs, etc; and bulk options of frozen packs of hamburger patties, etc. They also offer a wide selection of related items like BBQ sauces and other condiments, bread, eggs, commercial seasoning "shake & bake" style packages, fresh onions and potatoes, soda, etc. Basically, they can be a one stop shop for a planned BBQ, or similar event. I won't buy my meat from anywhere else. The friendly, family-like atmosphere that makes you feel like everyone knows everyone, which in a lot cases they do, is just that added bonus. I've never walked in the door when I wasn't instantly greated with a welcoming "Hi there...how ya doin'" or left without a parting "goodbye...come back soon" with friendly banter from everyone while there making you feel not only welcome, but like you're home.
