Thank you Schiller& Hamilton! The support Derek and Melissa showed me through the whole process. Those two are amazing! But I would never recommend David Manzi associated with the firm to no one. Run if he is appointed to you!!

Me and my husband were going out to dinner on a Saturday afternoon in October of 2021 when a vehicle ran a stop sign and hit us on the passengers side of our truck. There were bumps, bruises, and airbag burns, but thankfully, we were not seriously injured. We attempted to handle the claim ourselves, but quickly realized that we needed help when coverage issues with the other vehicle came up. We were given the name of an attorney to contact - Schiller and Hamilton. From the first meeting, I knew that we would be well taken care of. Derek and Melissa were awesome! Questions or concerns were addressed in a timely and professional manner—I couldn’t have asked for better service. This is the first time I have had to use an attorney, for this type of situation, and I hope I never have to have one again, but if I do, Schiller and Hamilton will be my first call.

In South Carolina, you may seek compensation despite being partly at fault. You may be up to 50% at fault and still recover a portion of your damages. However, if you are more than 50% at fault you are barred from any recovery. We suggest that you talk to an attorney at Schiller & Hamilton if there are questions as to liability.
Once an agreement to settle a case has been reached, it would normally not take longer than two weeks to receive a check though there are reasons that could take more time. For instance, if the insurance carrier insists on paying medicare directly, if the insurance carrier sends the check to their defense attorney, etc. Following an award for damages, an insurance company will process and send a check within a matter of weeks unless they decide to appeal a matter of law.
