The caverns were amazing! Very tight spaces in some areas, steep steps, and a lot of stairs back up but well worth it if those things don't bother you! The calcite formations we're beautiful and the guides are very informative. Stopped at the gift shop area and got some bags of dirt and minerals to sift through. You get quite a bit of crystals and neat rocks per bag! Very fun experience!

This was mine and my husband's first time going in a cave. We arrived for the first tour of the day, which was on Thursday, December 2, 2021. We had a wonderful time and our guide was amazing and she was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this cave tour. 😉👍

The cavern experience was really good. the tour guide explained the history and the formations very nicely and patiently. It was my first cave experience and a very good one too. It was a 45 min tour with about 1600 steps up and down. Pretty narrow and steep at some places. Tall persons and ppl carrying babies/toddlers have to be very careful.

$17.00 for adults and $9.50 for children ages 3-12 years
It is $18 per person over the age of 12. If I remember correctly it was $12 for kids, n under 3 years old I believe is free
No
I was there about a week ago and it was not open.
Give yourself a couple hours to fully experience the cave tour and the gift shop. The tour group will not leave you behind. Plenty of handrails to assist with getting down and back up. Worth it!
Yes they are open when it is raining. Bring a sweater or light jacket, that you don't mind being smudged or roughed up by accidentally rubbing against metal stairs and rocks. You should consider splitting your group to do something different if a member is: 1) Clastriphobic 2) afraid of the dark 3) strength for 100 steep steps 4) afraid of heights 5) has vertigo Guidepost.us
There are hotels in the area just no major chains. Closest chain type hotel is in Angels camp
The site is open at 9am. Excellent tour guides. No fireworks allowed on site, even though sparklers inside the caverns would be awesome. Enjoy your time if you go. [_] cheers [_]
16 dollars for 12 and over, 9 dollars under 12, 3 and under is free.
