Pretty poor. Food was *way* over-salted. Servers were nice enough. This is the only public restaurant currently open on Wintergreen mountain (one other is for members and resort guests only) and it is only open part-time....really sad.

My friends and I came in for an early dinner on a Saturday night. The wait staff was pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed interacting with them. The food we were served was less enjoyable. Our burgers and sandwiches arrived at the table stabbed through with steak knives. I'm pretty sure the sad tomato slice and lettuce leaf would have stayed put on the thin burger disk just fine without it. My 18 dollar blue cheese smash burger was dry and grey. Instead of actual blue cheese it featured a smear of blue cheese dressing. The french fries were limp and barely warm. Thankfully I had a tasty beer to help choke the meal down. One of my companions had the misfortune to order the fish and chips. It was obvious that the fish was a pre-made boxed product that went straight from the freezer to the fryer. It also tasted like the fryer oil hadn't been changed in a while. The fish left a bitter taste. Judging by the old photos of delicious looking food, the current kitchen staff is failing hard.

We always enjoy hanging out at The Edge! They often have a live musician playing and it gets quite loud and I've only ever had drinks there, but the bar tenders are great and the atmosphere is welcoming, fun, and energetic. Good for families as well as adult hang outs. Definitely worth checking out.
