My mother broke her ankle and had screws and plates placed to fix it. She went to Greenbrier for rehabilitation. When my family visited, we didn't see any staff, but an elderly woman that let us in and out of the building. My mother had a heart complication and went to the hospital. While there she had a pacemaker placed. After some time, she went back to Greenbrier. My family visited and again we didn't see any staff and even the elderly woman was not there. A few days later she died in the night. No one knows why. I didn't want my dad to keep her there, but it was close to his home and that is what seemed to matter to him.Please don't send your loved one here for any reason.

My husband is neglected and abused there and they lie about it and all employees back each other with the lie. Almost died several times only didn't because he called 911 himself and was taken to hospital and admitted. This is also causing me physical problems making it hard to function on daily basis. Have talked ro everyone including director and nothing changes. I fear for his life everyday. He's a paraplegic and sometimes goes for hous without someone helping him get water. On a lesser note they steal alot of what I bring him. They also think baths are option and laying I ones own feces for hours is ok. At the least people need terminated. Ideally state needs to shut them down. Nobody listens or cares.

On 6/17, we were treated with the most terrible treatment by a nurse at the nurses station. She was argumentative, rude, belligerent and very unhelpful. All we asked for were pain meds for our family member. Which had to be done multiple times within a three hour period. A complaint will be filed. Consider staying home if you can’t be kind or helpful when it literally part of your job responsibilities.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone greenbrier health is so short staffed I’m still waiting to get paid since May7th2022 which was Saturday unprofessional place to be at
