Neahkahnie mountain trail is an excited 1.3 mile, windy, steep and eroded trail. The roots that used to hide beneath the soil are now jutting out of the ground making all kinds if crazy cool shapes. The trees here are also super old and beautiful. Make sure to stick with the main trail, half way up you'll hit a crossroad, just continue straight, then it goes up the mountain, be careful at the top, it's steep and breathtaking 😉 👌 this is a great trail for intense trail running, a quick hike, or to go with friends, I wouldn't necessarily bring kids, but some kids today are pretty rough so it could be done. Their is also a spooky legend that is tied to this mountain, involving buried treasure! The road leading to the trail off of 101 is not maintained very well, very very very rocky.

Fantastic hike! Mostly uphill and switchbacks. Steep at the top if you want climb on the rocks. Worth the view!

A short hike, lots of switchbacks, but shaded by beautiful old growth forest and the View is More than worth it. Some rocky parts, lots of tree roots and mud, some spots brushed in with undergrowth. Parking is plenty, but up and down the road. Road isn't in great shape and only 1 lane, so drive slowly and be prepared to pull over for others to pass coming down.

If you're only trying to reach the summit park at the south trailhead. It's about 1.5 miles to the top and there's a small parking lot. The north trailhead is more challenging and a longer hike.
