Lack of Transparency. It is not fair to your patients, or good business practice, to change the amount you are charging them without explaining the reason why. You pay before you see the doctor and ask how much it will cost. They tell you. Then after you see the doctor they increased the amount of the visit because I was now a "Full Patient". Mayra said if front of everyone that she did in fact tell me it was going to cost $275. This simply was not true she told me the total amount was $161 for the visit if they have to send anything else to the lab or if I get some kind of elective procedure done that is not under the scope of the $161 visit then obviously they would have to charge me for different services. I have no problem paying for what I owe. I do have a problem with businesses changing the price at the cash register. Mayra seems like a nice person and maybe she is worried about getting fired if she makes a mistake BUT no member of the staff here said the words $275.00 at any point. Please change your policies or be more transparent. It also seems like a cash grab because you get a 20% discount if you pay today which I get if you are trying to help those of lower socioeconomic status and I am off for that but the services cost what the services cost. Inflating your service fees 20% so you can incentivize customers to pay the same day feels wrong. The fact that you can give a random 20% discount seems suspicious. It would also help if you could explain things to your customers in a better way so nobody is walking out of your office feeling like they were robbed or forced into surprised fees. Especially, if money is a problem.
