They pay city inspectors just to make it look like code is enforced. No code is enforced. (Plum st homes) Inspectors are paid to look out for Amish Home owners and phfa funded properties with broken water pipes. All inspector supervisors have to cover the previous inspector who allowed buildings and homes to be rented out when code was never enforced. They also delete property records so make sure you screenshot records on Building blocks as soon as they come up to prove the problem at your property. Millions of dollars of the budget go to pay towards the code enforcement team but code is never enforced. During covid the city saved millions when the inspectors all got sick at city hall. Just fire them and stop using them to protect slum amish home owners. These Amish owners also get subsidies from PHFA. The mayor needs to shut down the lead program and stop using hud subsidies that can go to safe affordable housing needs this city desperately needs. Broken water pipes everywhere in every district while funding goes to a lead program that sorace wanted to fulfill mentioned in her campaign goals. Our housing is hazardous and uninhabitable in every district. The inspectors get paid to cover for uninhabitable homes.

Great looking building. The American flag however, is in desperate need of attention. We need our city flag and state flag hanging...both not present.

Birth and death certificates are administered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Consult your Representative to the General Assembly or state senator for guidance. They, or more accurately one of their staffers, will be able to help you.
