Horrible customer service experience today. I called Folsom Lake Hyundai 4 weeks ago because my check engine light came on. I lucked out because I have 2K and 2 months left on my manufacturer warranty. I was told that service appointments were 4 weeks out which seems like a long time from what I'm used to from my experiences with Ford and Mercedes but it is what it is. Today, finally that day came so I drove my car from Sacramento to Folsom for my appointment. When I arrive, I find out my service technician is out and I'm told by a different service technician (Rod Johnson) that I would have to leave my vehicle for 2 weeks before they could read the code on it. No loaner, no rental. I asked if I could take the vehicle with me and return in two weeks when they are ready but was told that wasn't an option. Not really sure how to proceed but it seems like they're going to try to wait me out of my warranty.

Today I took my 2020 Hyundai in for it's third service/ oil change at the Folsom Lake Hyundai. My car told me that I needed to get a service appt, which I know now is accurate because if wait I will not be able to get in. Unfortunately this experience today was very similar to the last two, Dreadfully Slow and without half of the things that servicing your car used to be. No car wash not even a vacuum session, nothing extra at all. See Pic for my questions of what "Fast" is? Don't get me wrong the service writer was polite and customer service people at the service desk were nice, it taking an hour and forty five minutes to change the oil and rotate the tires is ridiculous. For me this was third time in a row for it to taking this long for simple service appt. When I finally got my car back I went inside the dealership itself and asked to speak to the general manager because previously sessions speaking with service managers didn't help. I was asked to review this dealership by Hyundai after each of the services before which I did. Then the service mangers would call me and ask me to adjust my reviews of this department because of staffing and other reasons. But they didn't do anything to change how that department is performing. Still it is Very, Very slow. Today the service manager, Pedro EspinozaI spoke with me after my service. The general Manager I asked to speak with apparently didn't think it was worth his time. To the cut and short of it. Pedro said" Unfortunately there are always going to be people like you who are not happy with your service time. But there are people who come in here and are happy with an hour and forty five minutes for an oil change." At this point he just went into listing excuses again. Next time I'll make a drive of getting my car serviced. DGDG of San Jose, Capitol Hyundai took care of me Awesome last time. I will never buy or service my vehicle here at Folsom Lake Hyundai again. Buyers beware they're price gouging. I looked into a Santa Cruz today while I was waiting and the "Market Adjustment" which is Code for we can rip you off just because, is literally $10,000.00 over sticker price. 10K WOW Seriously!! You do You, but I'm never going back!!

Sold me a car with a broken taillight and is trying to blame me instead of owning up to if. They refuse to show me the before photos and have quickly took all photos from their website! I’ve heard horrible things since I bought the car. I wish I would have done some research. Omar is a scam artist. From what I hear and read the whole dealership is trash and should be thrown away.never will I ever buy from them. Treating paying customers so horribly. Definitely keeps that name of how they do business in the city! Straight garbage. Do not recommend this place.

Wasted my time making a drive out to this dealership. They first agreed to appraise my car to purchase it from me(initially over the phone). Insisted that I stop by in person to get it appraised...but then suddenly changed their wording and told me that they would only buy it from me, if I used it as a trade-in for a new car purchase from their dealership (and at a significant markup on top of msrp). Not a good business practice for sure. Gas and time ain't cheap these days. These guys definitely are tarnishing the Hyundai brand image with these shady tactics. 👎

Yeah I've had problems with him too I'll pay way too much for a hundred thousand mile warranty stuff that was supposed to already been intak they won't help and I only got one key for the car I paid $24,000 for it you would think I would at least get two keys
