I love this shop! It’s always clean & organized. The stylist are very friendly & polite . I felt the welcoming vibe as soon as I walk in the door . I trust them to leave my 10 year old daughter for hours getting her hair braided . Every style shown on pic is done exactly as I expected. If you want style comfort & hospitality. I recommend this shop !

I will NEVER patronize this salon again nor will I refer anyone seeking braids. I would've rated the service 0 stars if possible. My daughter and I visited the salon back in August. I scheduled an appointment with Fatima for medium-sized knotless braids prior to our arrival. When we arrived @ 830ish am, there was no braider available, and we were asked to wait. The wait was well over an hour! When scheduling my daughter's apt with Fatima I sent her an image of the braid style and size. Fatima failed to provide the image to the stylist braiding my daughter's hair. The image I sent showed medium knotless, the braider braided almost jumbo-sized braids. I was quoted 200.00 for medium-size knotless. I was charged a medium size amount (200.00) for jumbo knotless braids, which should've been less since the braids were larger. I informed Fatima the style was worth 150 and not the 200.00 I was charged, she informed me she did not normally charge 150.00 for braid styles and could refund me 20.00. My response was... there is only a 20.00 difference between medium-sized knotless and jumbo. She then informed me I could return my daughter to the salon the following day to allow the braider to take the braids out for a refund. I agreed. Fatima then telephoned the braider regarding the issue, decided to take the take-down offer off the table, and proposed the braider re-braid my daughter's hair (the following month) with her assistance like the image sent prior to the apt and the charge would be 20.00 for the hair. She informed me she would send a text with the details stated, and she did, but she has failed to honor re-braiding my daughter's hair and no longer responds to text regarding scheduling a day. Refunding the 50.00 initially asked for was the easiest and most logical thing to do in this situation. Especially since she admitted the braid size was different (larger) than the image sent AND the length of time it took to braid my daughter's hair, about 8 hours for jumbo knotless. Very UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!

My first experience at Fatima African Hair Braiding. I really didn't know what type of braids I was going to get, since I usually only get micro or individual braids. I had a brief consultation with Ms Fatima and she helped be select single box braids. Its a different look for me but i love them. The ladies is the shop we're professional and courtesy to all of their clients. I was extremely impressed with the hair knowledge and care Ms Fatima has and shared during my service. This is the first time I've gotten my hair braided and it didn't feel like they were pulling my hair out or giving me a headache! Thanks Ms Fatima and your staff! I will become a regular client now! 😀
