Dr Desai delivered me and my siblings, so naturally I wanted him to deliver my first baby. Well that was a mistake! I always felt rushed in the office like he never gave you time to answer questions and when he did he brushed them off and never gave a full answer. When I had concerns he never addressed them or explained them, he just said oh it's fine it's ok. Ok? But I want to know what it is. He doesn't have much equipment in his office, he doesn't do his own ultrasounds so prepare to be clueless. When he broke my waters he knicked my baby's head she had a huge scratch at birth due to the hook he used. It was very painful when he broke my waters almost as if he went too far in. I gave him 2 stars bc atleast i made it to 40 weeks and delivered a healthy baby. Which btw he tried pressuring me for weeks to deliver early for no reason at all! I had a very healthy pregnancy. I'm glad he's retiring. I used a different doctor with my second baby and had a better experience.

Dr. Desai is wonderful! I would recommend him to anyone! He delivered our second child (14 years ago) and he has always been a wonderful gynecologist!

My mother had a bad experience with dr desi bout 2 yrs ago. She had preeclampsia,her blood pressure was high he told my mother not worry about it she will be fine and made her go home. So she switch to dr.shellnut he told her lucky she came on in with the high blood pressure and preeclampsia cuz her and the baby could of die so she had to have emergency surgery right then in there. So the baby was born 2 Month early and under weight so thank u doctor shellnut the baby 2 yrs old and healthy.
