Strange location (maybe it was a regional bank branch at one point?)but plenty of open chargers, and fast, too. It's a little bit of a hike to the brewery/bakery nearby, but worth the walk. Will charge here again.

4 trips through Austin, 4 attempts to charge here, and every time it’s packed and there’s a line of cars waiting for a space to charge. I kept coming back here because it’s the only station right off I-35, but it’s just proven to be a waste of time. Recommend going to the Research Blvd. Supercharger instead—it has double the stations, way more space to maneuver, and always has available spots. Also better lit and feels like a safer area at night.

My first Supercharger visit for my new Model Y. Second day of ownership. I tried charging at home on my 110 volt outlet, and that added 4 or 5 miles of range per hour of charging. Not much satisfaction with that. When I arrived at the Supercharger, it was easy to back into a slot and plug in the charger. Sitting inside the car, I could watch the progress on my screen. Initially, I saw over 300 miles of range per hour of charging, and that dropped to about 280 miles as the charge got closer to full. Very impressive. I was there for about 15 minutes and added 72 miles of range to reach my goal of 290 miles of range. I felt much more secure seeing how quickly that could be accomplished.

8 stalls only. It's often packed. And there's no way, or system, to have a queue. So up to everyone to have an understanding of pecking order. The chargers sometimes have an error message that charging was interrupted. Doesn't affect charging, ultimately, but you will get the alert on your screen. It's a block distance walk to Easy Tiger, but aside from that, there's not much else going on. The driving space in front of the chargers is SO TIGHT. Highly likely that you'll hit the curb in front (or drive over it) accidentally, if not using your sensors meticulously. Of course, we have no choice but to use this supercharger. But if you don't have to, highly recommend you find alternatives.

Is there still a level two courtesy plug here?

Yes

are there any other superchargers in Austin as of 8-21-19? the existing one is in a very non-central location, has no walkable amenities and is depressing and almost-dangerous-seeming, especially at night or early morning.

There is another one at 9800 1/2 Stonelake Blvd in Arboretum area, which is not open as of 8-21-19 but should be opening up in a few days.
