I went in with my boyfriend and friend at 1 am in the morning, on a Saturday. Female side- I had the whole bathhouse part to myself. The place smelled moldy, and somewhat sickly. The dry sauna room was nice. The steam sauna did not smell the best, but was at least relaxing. The pool water for both hot and cold was chlorinated. I'd suggest taking a shower once you are home for optimal cleanliness. The salt room was neat, as was the clay room. The ice room, I'd suggest grabbing a mat to lay on the floor, as that was the coldest part of the room. I was expecting freezer cold, not my regular house temperature during the summer, cold. Male side- My boyfriend was completely not okay and uncomfortable. My roommate tried to enjoy himself. Apparently there was a lot of men on the males bathhouse side, in a small building space. There was not a lot of room on the benches, on either dry, or steam side. And the hot tub was filled with guys on all sides. My roommate stood in the middle of the tub. The common space during this time of night was filled with sleeping people of various ages and genders. There is one room dedicated to females that need rest. This place is worth the 25$ because it was still neat trying out the saunas. My review of two stars is based on cleanliness of the bathhouse and how uncomfortable my boyfriend was.

Cheaper than other Spas but kinda get what you pay for. Not as nice as the others, and more cleaning I think could be done but it's not bad by any means.

This is a nice place to relax preferably alone as there are not many co-ed options and it is a bit smaller than other saunas. There is a women's side and a men's side for all the bathing and sauna use..the only co-ed areas are the sleeping area and the restaurant/eating area.. The food was very good and the lady that works in the restaurant is very attentive to all your needs..Miss Renee that works in the back on the women's side is Wonderful and will show you everything you need to see and tell you everything you need to know to have a seamless visit.. The people at the front desk are always very nice. I like that you are able to come and go as often as you'd like within your 24 hour time period.. When you arrive they will hold your ID/ DL as collateral during your stay and you settle up when you are ready to leave..just like a hotel check out is 11am.. if you are not gone by 11am you will be charged for an additional day.. One thing I wish they would bring back to the menu is the Body scrubs, they were removed during COVID.. but since COVID is "over' it would be nice to have them bring those back. All in all, I enjoyed my time here and will continue to go there when I'm in town.

I was on the way to Jeju Spa when I saw reviews for this location. Since it was closer then Jeju I decided to see if it was worth the hype or how it compares to JeJu. I will list the pros and cons. Pros: Similar to Jeju its the same thing as Jeju its a Korean Bath Spa but smaller. Same rules and everything. Very small so if you like smaller crowds this will be for you. Not alot of people go hear . I went on a Sunday afternoon I can it was around 6 women in the women section. Steam sauna is my fav sauna out of all of them and they have a salt room, clay room, ice room and regular room and a sleeping area. Price is cheaper Jeju is $35 Gangnam is $25. Cons: It's small. Even though I like smaller spaces it was kinda too small. As you know with korean bath houses you have to go in nude. I was a little nervous due to how close the women entrance was that a man might accidently come in . Jeju I would have felt a little bit more comfortable because it's very large and spacious. I didn't like the fact that I had to shower in front of everyone. Jeju the showers have a divide to it this one you have to shower in front of everyone, thankfully I went when it was no one in there so I felt a little comfortable. Not alot of help in there. Since I was new I wanted someone to tour me around the area, I asked a few people who couldn't communicate in English. One did and kinda told me just find your own way, and I did lol. I wanted the hip bath but no one was available. Result: Would I come back yes, just a smaller cheaper version of Jeju. Nothing special .

The locker rooms are separated. All of the wet areas (steam room, pools, sauna in the wet area) require nudity. There are common areas for both genders where you'll wear the uniform.
Yes. I suggest with the wet steam room, take in a pale of the cold pool water & towels to drape on your head & keep you a little cooler. That helps me to stay in a little longer
Yes. We have foot massage service. It is $40 for an hour.
Male
I don't think they do facials , it's a sauna and steam room male side and female side
Check in 11 am check out next day 11 am 24 hrs 7 day a week. 20.00
You don't have to. Not sure how it is on the women's side, but for the men, they have bars of soap, not sure if I seen tooth paste. Shampoo is provided. I think it doubles as body wash? For me, I like to bring my own hygiene products, just for that reason.... use your better judgment I guess.
For over night is $25
In the wet room the sauna and steam room have the benches. The ones outside the wet room do not.
Hello. The massage area is not allowed you to come in together. We only have female massage therapists now. If your wife wants to have massage service from us, come and ask at the front desk then she can chose massage services but not to pick a therapist. Thank you
If you want to wear your suit, yes you can wear. But basically we are public naked pool. Don't be too surprise to see other people in the soaking pool without clothes. Enjoy!!
There were none other than bring a very clean place. Masks were not really feasible in the "wet" area.
Yes you can
$20. $0 if you buy one of the packages that qualifies for free entrance.
No, all the showers ..steam and dry saunas are in seperate areas. However there is a pool and igloo like rooms in common area of the building.
Separate rooms for bath-related activities.
Haven't been to Spa World but imaging it's the same as other American style spas. Gagnam is a very different experience. You have to be comfortable with nudity and the scrub is like nothing I've heard about American style. Really the scrub is worth all the money.
Yea but can't put towel in the water
They charge $100+ for an acupressure massage and when you get a massage, they waive the enrollment fee.
