Nice area with a babbling creek. There were some trees that had changed to yellow, but not many. You'd think in mid October there would be more. It was warm to hot at 87*. A pretty area anyway and super easy to walk along and enjoy the sounds of the creek.

Nice easy trail great spot for kids of all ages, when facing stream to the left is more shallow and easy to wade through due to smaller pebbles and giant rock floor, to the right the stream can have some deep spots up to 3 ft with larger rocks to navigate through.

Great little stop next to the creek able to play 8n the water and enjoy the simple parts of nature has a restroom, but I gave it a 3 stars because it's not a campground it's a day use park and a 10 dollar fee if you have your vehicle there for to long. Still a nice stop to go for a picnic

I was just there (oct 2018) It looks as though the river is day-use only, no camping. There is also a $9 use fee. I used to go there in the '80's. There were no restrictions, park and camp anywhere.. River banks were trampled and trash was everywhere. The new rules might be inconvenient but the river looks much healthier.
