Beautiful place for camping, hiking, off-roading, target practice... Been going here since I was a teen. Hopefully people continue to TAKE CARE OF THE AREA and not take it for granted.

It is open, was just there Easter weekend.
No closed for fire danger
There is an area where people set their targets and shoot, there is the trail and the off roading area. As of last week that I drove by there, it was still closed. According to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) website it is still closed for health and safety, due to possible post wild fires floodings and land runoffs.
As a truck driver I drive close to this area. Thanks to Covid lots of tourist areas have been affected with closures. Your going to have to call maybe the Forestry people for this one. Be safe.
Mt Ord is still closed. So I imagine it's the same for Sycamore.
