This is a beautiful place. So peaceful. Plenty of shade and great fishing. The wildlife is amazing. I would recommend this lake to anyone that is looking for a great place to bring family. I will be back.

This was my first time visiting this location for bass fishing, and it was a pleasure. While the lake isn’t very large, it includes plenty of parking space, a mini beach/swimming area, and clean campgrounds. The parking for the campgrounds did seem a little clustered with for trucks with trailers or RV’s. However, I’m not sure that they have much room for expansion. In conclusion, I will definitely be returning for future fishing trips, as well as, looking into camping for the weekend.

A hidden gem for local camping, hiking and fishing. Absolutely well kept--park staff are friendly and hard workers! The cabins are beautifully located by the lake and are a fantastic place to rent for a getaway from suburbia with your friends or family. Super clean and safe. Fun summer events too like movies and star gazing.

The last post I saw the conservation board post said ice was less than 2 inches and closed until thicker.
Great! But can only keep over 15 inchers which is good! Big bass if u know how to catch them. Huge bluegill too!
They have a swimming beach. May daughter took her 5 year old swimming in it and had no issues.

Yes. They have a Facebook page the post regularly about openings..they also have another site called Schabens which has i believe 2 sites
I don't have an a,sewer to that yet.
They have different options at each site. I do believe that water is available at all sites and the electric depends on which site. There is no septic dump at this campsite. You must drive into Woodbine at the main park to dump your tanks.
Roughly 21 campsites with hookups. It's a very beautiful place to camp, fish, swim, playground, hiking trails & very peaceful.surroundings. I highly recommend Willow Lake.
Yes I go there 2 time's a year and always take my Dog
Verizon cell reception there is just fine. 4G service.
The campground doesn't accept reservations; it's first-come first-served. If you rented a cabin, I suppose you can call the country offices.
Pets aren't allowed in the cabins so I wasn't able to take my yellow lab. No pets allowed in the swimming area. As for the rest of the lake it would be questionable. You can see a few tree branches sticking up through the surface so I wonder what's below the surface. Its a really nice place and plan on returning.
If you have a camper I think just about about anytime.
Call the main office. I got married there in 2013. Right there by the big cabins across from swimming area.
It's first come first serve and I'm not there his weekend. Sorry.
