I won’t go into all details because I don’t think it will do any good anyway. The owner looks like a very nice lady until you find out that she is just some evil (not) genius with her minions doing all her dirty work. They just bought out Ashley Manor. I thought they were already one in the same. Very unprofessional about resolving any issue. They do not make it priority to put their residents care first. With my experience working there the residents who were supposed to wear glasses, never had them. Dentures?? Not wearing them because nobody knows where they are. CAN YOU HEAR ME? probably not because the staff lost everyone’s hearing aides and upper management doesn’t care enough to let the families know so things can be replaced. I think they need a pop up visit from the state when everyone is outback smoking….They knew when the JC came in they were coming. Pop in on them on a Saturday morning into the evening. Oh and they have a HUGE employee turnover. So much they say that in their handbook if the employee quits within the 6 months of employment they knock the employees pay down to MINIMUM wage for HOURS ALREADY WORKED.. my review is that this company doesn’t care about its residents or staff. They care about the all mighty dollar more than the way a human being is to be treated

Ever since they hired Shawn this place is so much better. I did not trust any of the other maintenance. This young man has been amazing and the place looks so much better. I sure hope he stays around and I hope the owner appreciate all his hard work. I never seen any of the other guys work as hard.

I have only been at Homestead for 1 week and I absolutely love it! The staff is extremely helpful and the residents are very nice. Lots of things to do here.

When they are not able to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) on their own. Such as cooking, bathing, dressing, taking meds, etc.
If you need assistance with activities of daily living you can get an in-home caregiver which can run $20-35/hr. Or assisted living that has 24/7 services. Decide what suits your needs.
From what I understand is in assisted living medications are administered.
