How much more disrespectful and rude can the front desk be? Maybe next time I come to drop off groceries they can be even worse... I can only hope.

I live here. All staff are helpful, kind & respectful. Rooms are mostly singles, but they do have doubles, all have there own bathrooms. This not a nursing home & doesn't look or smell like one. All meals have 2 choices + soup, desert, snacks for later & sandwich options.

If I could give The Granville 10 stars, it wouldn't be enough! I was the sole caregiver for my Grandmother for almost 5 years when it proved to be just too much for me to handle. The reason why I hadn't gotten her into her own "apartment" or facility, is because of what my mind thought an assisted living facility was going to be. I didn't want my Grandmother to be in a place that wasn't well maintained, or where the staff were abusive in any way etc etc. All the horror stories that one hears about pertaining to elder care facilities. Well, The Granville is ANYTHING but! From the second we toured the location right before the pandemic, I was put at ease. The residents seemed happy, the entire place was decorated just beautifully and extremely clean, and the staff was just so nice! It really felt like home! The help and expertise that they provided to me in getting my Grandmother approved was also a Godsend, because all of the paperwork can be tricky for someone not familiar! My Grandmother's apartment was just so lovely too! She was able to decorate it how she wanted, and there is a little kitchenette area with a fridge and microwave so she can have her favorite snacks. She has been there over a year now and I couldn't have asked for a better location to have provided the utmost care during the pandemic. They even took the necessary precautions one week ahead of time before the Government shut everything down. To accommodate all the residents who now were unfortunately unable to leave their rooms, must have been such an undertaking!! But the staff still made my Grandmother and the other residents not feel neglected and forgotten about. Making little crafts and spending a little more time with the residents so they didn't feel so alone during this scary time. They went above and beyond making sure everyone was kept safe and stayed healthy and just did an incredible job and am so grateful to everyone at The Granville. I could go on and on about the staff being just perfect and everything I could have ever hoped for, for my Grandmother. If you have a loved one and you are feeling apprehensive about locating a place where you can rest easy at night knowing they're being cared for properly and with respect, then look no further. My Grandmother absolutely LOVES living at The Granville! She has made friends, still has her independence and adores the staff! I am eternally grateful for finding the Granville and cannot thank Sara, Joe, Kathy, Jamie, Mary and the rest of the entire staff for providing this location and the care that they give to someone that means SO much to me!

My father has dementia and has lived here 7+ years. From the first day helping me to fill out the paperwork, through today, all of the wonderful employees have been great! Communication is always timely, special activities are fun, and they GENUINELY care about the residence and the family. Through the whole covid nightmare, ALL of the staff were great with required protocols while showing compassion. There's not enough room for me to list all of the things that are so great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
