We went to the Adams County Fair last weekend. It was alot of fun and everyone loves the animals, but unfortunately it costs a fortune! The parking was $20, the armbands for the rides were $35 for each person. The food and drinks were Also incredibly high priced. Although we love it and have gone every year for quite a while, we may have to re-think it next year.

I don't know about the fishing but there's a bunch of other things there to do. If you haven't been in awhile. It might surprise you what you'd find. Frisbee Golf. Sculptures. More lakes. Lots of places to bike🚴♂️🚴♀️ and hike🚶♂️🚶♀️. Some great birding. Meet some interesting people with their KooL Dogs. A small garden with Colorado friendly vegetation 🌾🌱🌲

Hi Mary. There are several hotels near the fairgrounds in Brighton. Fairfield Inn, Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn are all within a few miles of the grounds.

They have open/closed hours through the main gate. The other access area(s) are always open, and I'm sure nobody would hassle you for being there after hours. Unless you're not just walking around...
Yes there is a little pond to walk around and trails very nice :)
