Absolutely beautiful camp ground. Was sad to see how many of the bicycle riders at the bike event just dropped their trash from snacks on the ground expecting someone to pick up after them. The wind was blowing like crazy making it almost impossible to pick up their trash for them. I can't imagine how much more trash they dropped on the trails.

This is probably the most beautiful place I've ever camped. Very nice campground, new tables and fire pits, and only $20 a night.

Thus was such a nice campground. It is literally right down the hill from the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, so if you get delayed for the zip line/gondola due to weather, you can camp here or enjoy some hiking trails while you wait. Our campsite (#7) had a sunken fire pit area, with a nice rock bench. We couldnt use it due to the fire ban, but it was cool.

I Love Royal Gorge, whether your visiting the park to see "America's Bridge" ride the Gondola, Zip Line over the beautiful Arkansas River or there to hike the trails (Fremont Peak, Summit trail, Far Out Trail, Canyon Ridge) its absolutely amazing!
