I am a weekend camper and I tried to go and discover a new place every weekend and I am so happy and satisfied with my selection for this weekend they have such a magnificent view almost out of every campsite and they're not crowded at all the entrance roads a little muddy on a rainy day. But all in all one of my favorite places from now on

We really enjoyed this campground. Each site had a tent pad. The one for our site was behind some trees in the corner, so we didn't find it until after the first night. There were some cool trails that go up by the cliffs. There was also a pit toilet. The price per night was really reasonable, although you have to book online through recreation.gov

Nice campground with $14 fee. Day use area is perfect for climbing the numerous limestone walls. Most of the climbs are single pitch and the difficulty ranges from a handful of 5.7s, 5.8s, and 5.9s to mostly 5.10s and more. There are climbs for everyone and you can catch shade or sun depending on the wall.

It's a pretty hike can be strenuous trails are rocky but doable the problem we had the second time we were riding our horses after the snow melt a lot of the trees blocked the trails for equestrians. We were unable to do the full loop had to backtrack but it's still beautiful and it's very rugged camping but you can pretty much put your tent anywhere.

Hello Lucy you cant reserve its first come basis, it is way too hot this time of year so you'll have the place to yourself
There are shady areas to climb in the heat, I personally wouldn't climb here even in the shade if the Temps were above 85deg F. Depends on what you can tolerate hahah
Yes, but check for availability at recreation.gov to be sure.
I have a 29 ft travel trailer you might have to disconnect your vehicle after you park 14 15 and 16 campsites are bigger spots to camp. Happy camping 🌄
Tuesday night I saw no one there. If you go for weekends be early on friday it can fill up quickly. I used to camp up near the bank. The road is now closed. And some of that area is privately owned
I had cellphone reception there, no problems. https://www.blm.gov/visit/sand-gulch-campground
